How It Works
Carmustine, also known as BCNU, is a chemotherapy medication belonging to the nitrosourea class. It works by damaging the DNA in cancer cells, leading to their destruction. Carmustine interferes with the synthesis of DNA and RNA, preventing cancer cells from replicating and proliferating. This ultimately leads to the death of cancer cells.Side Effects
