How It Works
Piqray works by inhibiting a protein called phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K). PI3K is involved in cell growth, survival, and metabolism. By blocking PI3K, Piqray helps slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells in patients with advanced breast cancer that have a specific genetic mutation known as PIK3CA mutation.Side Effects

Indications
- Piqray is indicated in combination with fulvestrant for the treatment of postmenopausal women, and men, with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative, PIK3CA-mutated, advanced or metastatic breast cancer as detected by an FDA-approved test following progression on or after an endocrine-based regimen.
