Liotrix (Euthyral)
Liotrix (Euthyral) is a synthetic combination of two thyroid hormones, T4 (levothyroxine) and T3 (liothyronine). It is used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. Liotrix can also be used in combination with antithyroid drugs to treat thyrotoxicosis, a condition where the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormone.
